Thursday Golf League
PLEASE NOTE THESE UPCOMING CHANGES!
There is no Thursday League play on May 21st due to a scheduled tournament at the course. Those who play on the 14th will automatically be scheduled for play on the 28th unless the player cancels his play for that day.
STARTING JUNE 4TH, TEE TIMES WILL BE REQUIRED ON THURSDAYS FOR THE LEAGUE AND GENERAL PUBLIC. THE THURSDAY LEAGUE HAS RESERVED 7 TEE TIMES STARTING AT 8 A.M. AND EVERY 10 MINUTES THEREAFTER WITH THE LAST TEE TIME AT 9 A.M. THE FIRST 28 PLAYERS TO SIGN UP FOR ANY GIVEN DAY WILL BE SCHEDULED TO PLAY. GOLF TEAMS AND TEE TIMES WILL BE POSTED ON THIS SITE ON WEDNESDAY EVENING BEFORE 7 P.M. FOR ALL PLAYERS PLAYING THAT WEEK. IT IS UP TO EACH PLAYER TO REVIEW THE SCHEDULE AND BE ON THE TEE AT THE DESIGNATED TEE TIME. LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT PLAY.
Lambert Acres Golf Club is pleased to host three weekly golf leagues. All leagues play year-round. The Tuesday league averages 110 players. The Thursday league averages 20 players. The Sunday league averages 12 players. The cost for both leagues is $20 per round plus the cost of Lambert Acres green fees. New seasons begin in April and October, but you may join any league at anytime during the year. The respective representative’s contact number, information about the league and weekly league results are listed on each league’s page.

Thursday League start time is now 8:30 a.m. Since this is not a shotgun start, we begin tee offs as groups are ready to go and as the Starter sees fit. Please be checked in no later than 8:00 a.m.

- You must call or text Joe before 6 p.m. on Wednesday if you are not going to play on Thursday.
- If you miss a week, you must call or text Joe before 6 p.m. the Wednesday before the Thursday you are going to play.
- In making every effort to be fair to all players, if you play on any given day and withdraw at anytime for any reason during the round, all of the holes played will be changed to a score of zero and your points will not go down.
- Same rules of play as the Tuesday League.
- The cost to play is $20 plus standard Lambert Acres green fees.
- No end of year tournament.
- $10 cost to join the league. This fee will be used to provide an end of season lunch to all players.
- The same handicap calculation methodology used on Tuesdays with the exception of those who withdraw as outlined above.
- Players may join at anytime throughout the season.

- Point adjustment formula:
- -3 points or more – your points decrease by .5 point provided you completed the round.
- +2 points or more – your points increase by 1/2 of the difference (e.g.; +5 increases your points by 2.5 points.) (Note: If you are relatively new to the league (five rounds or less), your points will be increased to the highest score within the first five weeks of play for the current round and going forward.)
